This Woman’s Rush

I’m always in a hurry, trying to get from point A to point B.
I can never find my things, my shoes or my car keys.

I’m always in a hurry, got to take care of life; it can be hard at times to do this,
like trying to cut steak with a dull knife.

I’m always in a hurry, got to catch that flight on time, if somebody doesn’t help me,
I just might lose my mind.

I’m always in a hurry, my brain shifts from left to right, if I was thinking straight
I would have realized, that this dress is way too tight.

I’m always in a hurry, my feet are always sore,
send a rescue team to save me, I can’t do this anymore.

I’m always in a hurry; I have double helpings on my plate,
If I could run and hide from it all, I would move to another state.

I’m always in a hurry, no time to scream and shout,
maybe a stop at the planet Jupiter, would be a good place to let it all out.

I’m always in a hurry, no time to try on those purple shoes,
I must be related to Billy Holiday, because this lady is always singing the blues.

I’m always in a hurry, no time for walking on the beach,
I hope my luck changes for the better, because I too have goals to reach.

I’m always in a hurry; my movements are faster than a train,
I’m going insane, while moving in the fast lane.

I’m always in a hurry, taking care of everybody else,
What I need to do is take time out, and start taking care of myself.
